Privacy Policy

This policy describes how TapSense (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you visit tapsense.online, place an order, or contact us. We sell NFC and QR review stands that we configure for a business and deliver locally.

We collect information you give us in connection with an order or a question, including:

• Business name, and optionally your name and phone number
• Email address
• The Google review link you want programmed onto the stand
• Package selection and any delivery notes
• Shipping and billing details collected at checkout, including delivery address

If you email, text, or call us, we also keep the contents of that conversation as needed to help you.

People who tap or scan a stand are not asked for information by TapSense. A tap or scan opens your Google review page. Google handles any information those visitors submit to Google under Google’s own policies.

We use this information to:

• Take payment, configure, test, and deliver your stand
• Confirm your Google review link and follow up about your order
• Reprogram a stand if you later send a new review URL
• Respond to questions and fix problems
• Keep records of purchases and communications as required by law

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not rent customer lists.

Card payments are processed by Square. TapSense does not receive or store your full card number. Square collects payment and checkout information under its own Privacy Policy and Terms. After a successful payment, Square may send us order details we need to fulfill the stand, such as your name, email, phone, shipping address, and the notes you entered at checkout.

We share information only as needed to run the business:

• Square, to process payment and collect delivery details
• Delivery or shipping partners, to get the stand to you
• Service providers who help us operate email, hosting, or similar tools, under obligations to protect the data
• Authorities, if we are legally required to disclose it, or to protect our rights, customers, or the public

We do not share your Google review link or customer list for advertising networks or unrelated marketing.

Our website is a simple marketing and checkout site. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics pixels. Your browser may still send standard technical data to our hosting provider (such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested) in server logs used to operate and secure the site.

Square’s checkout pages may set their own cookies. Those are governed by Square, not by this policy.

We keep order and contact details for as long as we need them to fulfill your order, handle reconfiguration or support, and meet tax or recordkeeping duties. We then delete or de-identify the information when we no longer have a reason to keep it.

We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please use a current browser and a unique password on any account you use with Square.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to update the Google review link programmed on your stand. Email ben@tapsense.online. We may need to keep some records of a purchase even after a deletion request, for example for taxes or to complete a delivery already in progress.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under state or other law. We will honor requests we are required to honor. If we deny a request, we will explain why.

TapSense is a business product. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.

TapSense is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official product of Google LLC. Google is a trademark of Google LLC. Your Google Business Profile, Google reviews, and any data Google collects are governed by Google’s terms and privacy policy, not ours.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
